I cen\u00adtri di cal\u00adcolo con super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter ad alto con\u00adsumo ener\u00adge\u00adtico, per\u00f2, emet\u00adtono una quan\u00adtit\u00e0 note\u00advole di CO2. \u00abReti di super\u00adcom\u00adpu\u00adter otti\u00admiz\u00adzate dal punto di vista ener\u00adge\u00adtico gra\u00adzie all\u2019uso dell\u2019energia eolica\u00bb (ESN4NW): die\u00adtro questo titolo si nas\u00adconde un nuovo pro\u00adgetto col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtivo a livello nazio\u00adnale gui\u00addato dal SICP \u2013 Soft\u00adware Inno\u00adva\u00adtion Cam\u00adpus Pader\u00adborn dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Pader\u00adborn. In col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adzione con West\u00adfa\u00adlen\u00adWIND IT, azi\u00adenda mem\u00adbro del SICP, e il suo mar\u00adchio wind\u00adCORES, \u00e8 nata l\u2019idea di svi\u00adluppare una nuova infra\u00adstrut\u00adtura HPC basata su un approc\u00adcio sos\u00adteni\u00adbile. Il Minis\u00adtero fede\u00adrale dell\u2019Istruzione e della Ricerca (BMBF) finan\u00adzier\u00e0 il pro\u00adgetto per i prossimi tre anni con circa 2,5 mili\u00adoni di euro. Del con\u00adsor\u00adzio fanno parte anche l\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Pas\u00adsau, l\u2019Istituto Fraun\u00adho\u00adfer per l\u2019affidabilit\u00e0 e la micro\u00adin\u00adte\u00adgra\u00adzione IZM e le azi\u00adende Aix\u00adpert\u00adSoft GmbH, Rit\u00adtal, Atos Deutsch\u00adland e Zattoo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ali\u00admen\u00adtare i cen\u00adtri dati in modo cli\u00adma\u00adti\u00adca\u00admente neutrale<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Insieme, i part\u00adner del pro\u00adgetto stanno stu\u00addi\u00adando e dimostrando il poten\u00adziale dei cosid\u00addetti \u201cwind\u00adCORES\u201d. Si tratta di tur\u00adbine eoli\u00adche che ospi\u00adtano nei loro piloni dei data cen\u00adter e li ali\u00admen\u00adtano con l\u2019energia eolica pro\u00addotta in loco, in modo pra\u00adti\u00adca\u00admente a impatto zero sul clima. L\u2019obiettivo del pro\u00adgetto \u00e8 svi\u00adluppare l\u2019infrastruttura e la ges\u00adtione ope\u00adra\u00adtiva di un clus\u00adter HPC all\u2019interno di diversi impianti eolici. L\u2019energia rin\u00adno\u00adva\u00adbile dis\u00adpo\u00adni\u00adbile dirett\u00adamente in loco verr\u00e0 inte\u00adgrata nella ges\u00adtione ope\u00adra\u00adtiva per sfrut\u00adtarla al mas\u00adsimo. Inoltre, si terr\u00e0 conto anche del calore resi\u00adduo gene\u00adrato come fat\u00adtore limitante.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A titolo dimostra\u00adtivo, si intende per\u00adse\u00adguire e imple\u00admen\u00adtare un approc\u00adcio archi\u00adtet\u00adto\u00adnico alter\u00adna\u00adtivo, che vada oltre lo stato dell\u2019arte. I part\u00adner del pro\u00adgetto stanno svi\u00adlup\u00adpando un\u2019infrastruttura che, gra\u00adzie a un uso inten\u00adsivo dei dati e a metodi di intel\u00adli\u00adgenza arti\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adale (IA), adatta con\u00adti\u00adnu\u00ada\u00admente la potenza di cal\u00adcolo del clus\u00adter HPC decen\u00adtra\u00adliz\u00adzato tra\u00admite una piat\u00adta\u00adforma ope\u00adra\u00adtiva. Il clus\u00adter \u00e8 dis\u00adtri\u00adbuito su diversi impianti eolici e deve sfrut\u00adtare al mas\u00adsimo la dis\u00adpo\u00adni\u00adbi\u00adlit\u00e0 ener\u00adge\u00adtica flut\u00adtu\u00adante. Inoltre, il pro\u00adgetto stu\u00addia l\u2019impatto di diverse archi\u00adtet\u00adture e stra\u00adte\u00adgie ope\u00adra\u00adtive sulla valu\u00adta\u00adzione di sos\u00adteni\u00adbi\u00adlit\u00e0 del sis\u00adtema di desti\u00adna\u00adzione. Per la ges\u00adtione ope\u00adra\u00adtiva basata sull\u2019IA ser\u00advono modelli com\u00adpor\u00adta\u00admen\u00adtali e pre\u00addit\u00adtivi rela\u00adtivi all\u2019infrastruttura e alla rete ener\u00adge\u00adtica locale, che al momento non sono ancora dis\u00adpo\u00adni\u00adbili. \u00abLe sfide sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adche e tec\u00adni\u00adche del pro\u00adgetto risie\u00addono, tra l\u2019altro, nell\u2019acquisizione e nell\u2019utilizzo inten\u00adsivo dei dati (rete ener\u00adge\u00adtica e infra\u00adstrut\u00adture), nell\u2019integrazione dell\u2019intelligenza arti\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adale nei cir\u00adcuiti di rego\u00adla\u00adzione, non\u00adch\u00e9 nella fusione sis\u00adte\u00adma\u00adtica di tutti i modelli tra\u00admite un gemello digi\u00adtale\u00bb, spiega il dott. Gun\u00adnar Scho\u00adma\u00adker, mana\u00adger dell\u2019SICP. \u00abAl cen\u00adtro ci sono le pre\u00advi\u00adsioni sulla dis\u00adpo\u00adni\u00adbi\u00adlit\u00e0 ener\u00adge\u00adtica locale in fun\u00adzione delle con\u00addi\u00adzioni meteo\u00adro\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adche, oltre a modelli com\u00adpor\u00adta\u00admen\u00adtali pre\u00adcisi di tutti gli impianti che inter\u00adagis\u00adcono tra loro per quanto riguarda il loro assorb\u00adi\u00admento di potenza e la disper\u00adsione di calore\u00bb, con\u00adti\u00adnua Schomaker.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un con\u00adcetto inno\u00adva\u00adtivo con un sis\u00adtema di com\u00admu\u00adta\u00adzione intelligente<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Una par\u00adti\u00adco\u00adla\u00adrit\u00e0 e un\u2019innovazione del pro\u00adgetto \u00e8 che la torre di una tur\u00adbina eolica viene inte\u00adgrata come poten\u00adziale dis\u00adsi\u00adpa\u00adtore di calore quando non c\u2019\u00e8 un uti\u00adliz\u00adza\u00adtore del calore resi\u00adduo o quando questo non ne ha biso\u00adgno in quel momento. La torre pu\u00f2 quindi assor\u00adbire il calore resi\u00adduo dei sis\u00adtemi IT e raf\u00adfred\u00addarlo. Questa fun\u00adzione, insieme alla dis\u00adpo\u00adni\u00adbi\u00adlit\u00e0 di ener\u00adgia, ser\u00advir\u00e0 da linea guida per il fun\u00adzio\u00adna\u00admento del clus\u00adter HPC. In pra\u00adtica, questo signi\u00adfica che il sis\u00adtema fun\u00adziona solo quando c\u2019\u00e8 ener\u00adgia rin\u00adno\u00adva\u00adbile dis\u00adpo\u00adni\u00adbile e il calore resi\u00adduo pu\u00f2 essere smal\u00adtito in modo quasi a emis\u00adsioni zero di CO2.
